Cancelled but got rebilled. Shut off for
" This is the worst web hosting company I have ever dealt with. One time I sat on the phone for over two hours just to ask why my site was offline.... Then they did a server migration that shut off ftp for over two weeks. The icing on the cake was getting rebilled for $107 dollars after cancelling my account. Dirt Bags! Any other host would be better. My sites are now on 1 & 1 which are little slower but always up and running. "

iPower/iPage shut down servers without notice-LOST WEBPAGE!
" I was a customer of iPower/iPage for 2 years. Without notice or explanation, they shut off the servers from iPage (iPower is parent company) and did not transfer any information to save web pages. My business website was completely lost. Imagine my surprise to go on line to my website and it was gone! Their explanation was that information could not be transfered to the new servers and they were sorry for any inconvenience. iPower actually asked me to sign on with them again and start all over. Don't use these people if you value your time and hard work. I got nothing but double talk, and could not get a straight answer about my account until I insisted on talking to a manager. "

Incompetent monkeys run the show
"I put up my site with iPower in 2006, and they seemed pretty terrific at the time. Then they upgraded their servers in mid-2007, and everything has been horrible since then. My e-mail comes and goes and my site is down far too often. Tech support is the WORST I've ever seen. The telephone hold time is usually around 15 minutes before you get a live person, and their on-line chat is completely useless; after a while, it's fun to type in random thoughts (like "I like pancakes") just to see which pre-programmed response you'll get in return. Even their e-mail support system sucks; instead of just corresponding via e-mail, you have to reply to them through the Control Panel. Not surprisingly, it's usually broken in one way or another. I'm now attempting to migrate the hell away from them, and the lack of communication on their part is the only obstacle to getting free of their idiocy. If it's a choice between iPower and nothing, I'd say you probably don't need a website that badly."

I Power Web is the worst hosting company I have ever dealt w
" Our sites were hacked while hosted by I Power Web in 2008. When I called tech support to resolve the issues, they were NOT AT ALL HELPFUL. LITERALLY< they were a NIGHTMARE. Later that day I googled I POWER and found that hundreds of people have experienced this nightmare, but was their tech support able to address this issue in a timely manner? NO. I had to jump thru hoops in order for them to address an issue that was completly their responsibility. I Powre Web SUXS!"

RUN! Don't Walk Away from iPower
"There is NOT enough room to write the problems I have had with iPower. A few years back, they were good, then a couple of years ago, they started downhill and I mean fast. They upgraded my VPS and it has not worked since, then after 3 weeks of screwing with it, they sent me an email asking for more money for managed services. They had the websites down for 2 weeks, the email was lost for longer and I cannot log onto the box anymore. And that is only this issue. We have 5 host that we work with and iPower is a total complete disaster. I have moving our websites to other host and have 2 more and then iPower is gone. I only wish I would have listened to myself 2 years ago, when it was obvious that the good days were over. And to top it off, the VPS has now been compromised and the domains that were not set up yet, had phishing pages setup on them. Thankfully my main websites have been moved to another hosting provider. iPower needed the password. mmmmmm Who are you hiring iPower?"
