Avoid Yahoo Like the Plague
"I have just been through the worst 2-months experience with Yahoo - they shut down the website of which I am webmaster, Join the Boycott, http://www.geocities.com/truthmasters/jointheboycott.htm without notice and without explanation - after responding with form answers which had nothing to with the issue, in frustration I wrote to Yahoo's top executives, Susan Decker, Jerry Yang and company - no response - the "customer service" is simply horrendous and shows a real contempt for customers. The site has not been put back online and I am giving up on Yahoo. Join the Boycott was on the basic $4.95 per month plan - as of last time I looked, the space and throughput is miniscule compared with other host packages - only 25G a month - and just 25G a month throughput - with next to no software support (no PHP, MY SQL, Perl, etc.). Their customer service is a disservice - I suggest you look elsewhere. "

The worst web mail
"I have to log on to yahoo.com to account to get into my company email account in a difference account, not friendly user. They never fix it right!"

" I have reported bootleg companies that are sponsored by Yahoo Search Marketing at the bottom of an Ebay search. The first time I reported it, they told me I had to fill our a form and prove it was bootleg. Then the Yahoo support staff were confused and said it was not their sponsored link in Ebay. After many emails, they finally acknowedged it was their sponsored link. Legitimate vendors can't compete with bootleggers. Knowing how little they check these vendors, I would never purchase from their sponsored links. "
