Codero customer service is really bad.. half the time they are smart@sses and the other half they are just plain RUDE. They don't really seem like they know what they are doing and they take it out on the customer. All in all... the "support team" is not very professional and definitely need some social skills training from HR... Bottomline is.. you are a number and that is that.

I received a Final Notice on my domain listing that it was going to expire on 2/6/2012 and I needed to renew it. I have my domain registered through another vendor and it isn't set to expire until 2015. Total SCAM!

Bottom Line - They Don't Care about their customers! They tell you one thing and do another. I should have learned from the day I was dealing with the sales rep. He told me one thing, put another in the quote and then told the techs something completely different. Stories were never the same. I dealt with 3 different sales reps in the time I was with them. I asked several times for one server to be dropped since I upgraded to another one and ended up being double billed because I didn't "Cancel" the original - isn't that what an upgrade does??? I mentioned MULTIPLE times that I only wanted ONE server but they would not dismantle original server until I "formally" cancelled it.

We have two dedicated server with Codero and both servers got hacked!!!! We turned to Codero for assistant on getting the site up and running but the answer was unsatisfactory. Our site was hacked; our backup was compromised so we had no choice but move to a new hosting company. We couldn’t count on them in time of needs, on top of it; they won’t allow us to cancel our service because they have a 7 days prior cancelation policy. Codero refused to cancel our next term even though the cancellation was confirmed one day before the anniversary date. They made us paid a full year service fee of $2870 for 0 day of used service. The company tricks you into enrolling their automatic billing so they can bill you with or without your consent. …..horrible customer service, horrible technical support and horrible business/billing policy.

Unbelievable to have a server for 4 years with these guys and have ZERO customer loyalty. They have a 7 day notice requirement to cancel so I call with 8 days to spare by phone, they won't allow it (but make no note in the computer). By the time I figured out how to cancel online (not obvious) it was day 6 - too late to cancel. I call and they could not care less. Customer service was patronizing (as in repeating the same lines to me over and over again) and uncaring. $10K we have given this company, yet no willingness to bend as if we were just a number. So we ended up getting billed for another month. They could not care less about their reputation, just want your money. I was on the phone for nearly an hour to no avail. Absolutely unbelievable. If you go with these guys, beware. And your bandwidth is going to be ridiculously slow - took us over 7 days to get our 300 GB downloaded. What happened to integrity and loyalty. Unreal.

Customer support is awful. "Routine Maintenance" means your going down, staying down, and when revived it doesn't work. Like deceptive billing practices" Cordero is for you.

Good prices for dedicated servers BUT, they are down every 2-3 months for about 48 hours! We have 2 powerful servers with them and every 2 months, they are down and we are left in the dark. Try to call support when the servers are down and No One is answering!! They will ignore you!! Try to get credit for the downtime and they will "drain" you with explanations and will try to avoid the whole downtime mess. Bottom line: Codero dedicated servers are cheap but are NOT worth it. STAY AWAY. The DOWNTIME with them will COST you more then the savings

I have been very pleased with Codero and their services thus far. They respond to support tickets in a timely fashion and they have defnately got me out of many jams I put myself into. In fact, I remember a handful of times they chatted me down from a severe server problem I caused, in spite of being an un-managed server. They still walked me through many troubleshooting sessions on live chat. I highly recommend Codero! Sincerely, D.S.

So far Codero experience is good. Some time internet speed goes down without any reason and then again it come back to normal. I have server on GoDaddy, I internally fee Codero is more reliable but GoDaddy has very high bandwidth for me. I sign up for 100 Mbps line but many time during the day time, I am not getting 200Kbps also....

I've been using Codero for several servers for a few years. They are very reliable and their pricing is reasonable. I've found that their choice of product offerings has worked well for me and my clients.
