Server is always down. they either say they are changing hard drives or they say there is no problem. Which i caught them lying about before. after proving it with a tracert command that it was their end not mine they began backstepping. All of a sudden the problem was escalated but still didnt get fixed

The rate goes up sharply after the first year, and it happens automatically by default. When you ask for your money back, they create a heck of barriers in order to keep it in their safe.

it is my suggestion to the hostmonster team. their emerged recently a problem regarding viruses. we have purchase space for hosting and a large number of websites hosted their.but recently all of our sites get affected ny virus.This is not happened for us only,many customers are giving feedback due to this. so we shifted some hosting to other web hosting company. please consider it as agood suggestion and make your hosting more secure. a virus scanner should be made for all accounts in your hosting. thanks

I was with him for about 5 years. The quality of their service was good in the first years but it went worse each year. In the last year I had server down every day and not friendly support from them. But it was difficult for me to move on a new hosting and it was my mistake. One day they suspended my account and all of my websites and services! And this happened because my country was in sanction by the U.S government. I did not protest in respect to their rules but when I asked for my data they withhold to let me have a backup of them. Their answer to my appeals was: Due to the US laws regarding this situation and Section 15 of our Terms of Service, we cannot provide access to the account or the files on it, nor can we provide a refund for the account. And when I mentioned that this law does not say you could not give my data back, they said it is our policy. And I lost 5 years data of many websites because I had no backup and because I had trusted them optimistically.

As you may know the HostMonster and BlueHost are from the same web hosting company that are owned and operated by Matt Heaton. I was their customer for about 5 years. We found hostmonster online seeing its high ranking. It was OK 3-4 years ago (short downs in a few minutes). But in 2011, our site downs several times a month ---during day time! It was down yesterday and down again today --- tech support phone never picks up...when we can talk to them, the answer is "server in upgrade and will be back in 40 minutes"....but it's the whole day, not just 40 minutes!!! We can not sell a thing through our site. We have to move out.

I know basically nothing about web hosting and was overwhelmed when my husband and I first started our business and website. But the customer service at HostMonster and made an intimidating process very easy. I have never experienced such helpful and friendly customer service. Anytime there is a problem (which always ends up being because I messed something up)they have patiently walked me through the process of identifying the issue, explaining it to me, and solving the problem. It is truly the best customer service I have ever experienced.

All the tech suppport in the world can't make up for staring endlessly at "The page can't be displayed". It just gets worse and worse the longer you stay with them. I wouldn't reccomend them if they were free. Need I say any more? I'm out.

When I first went to http://www.hostmonsters.com I thought for 5.95 a month id get what I paid for but I was very pleasently surprised. The service, speed and reliability are excellent and way better than my previous host.
