I've been a lunarpages customer for several years now. I need to have a 3rd party SSL Certificate installed. I have been waiting 3 days and it has yet to be installed. Mean while, my website certificate is expired and I'm losing business. I finally called the support department and they could not tell me when I would get help just that they were busy and it was first come first serve. I'm not happy with their support. It takes way too long to get help and I will be looking for a new web-hosting company once this is resolved.

I'm supporting the development of a new version of a website that is currently hosted in lunarpages.com and I can't believe how bad and inefficient is the tech support they offer. The performance to display a very simple site created in Joomla is pretty bad, and now I just realized that there are some customers who are not able to see the site just because they have some stupid IP blocking system that rejects some connection from a major ISP provider in our country. And the only response i got to fix this was: talk to ISP and see if they can help you fix this situation!!!! (response received 10 hrs after i submitted my case) I regret that the prev web admin paid for a 5-yr contract with this company. I've tried many otherhosting providers, and this is one of the worst I've ever seen. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Our site and email were down for four days. They "offered" to double our monthly cost to upgrade to resolve it but otherwise gave no explanation or timeline as to why the site was down. They gave us a free month at the end, but we are going to move. I also paid $30 to have them install the SSL certificate and had a terrible experience. They were completely unable to provide any kind of guidance as to how I should configure the certificate (it was a multiple domain certificate and I wasn't sure how to setup the subdomains) Every time they responded to me, it was a new person handling the ticket. At minimum, it took 12 hours for them to respond to any email I sent them. On the positive, they're cheap and their control panel isn't terrible.

I was with LP since 2008. At that time they were really good, but now they are the worst, believe me! After my 1-year subscription ended, I extended for 3 years. I really regret this decision! Now my subscription is still 14 months away but they don't want to refund my money proratedly even though the faults are with them not with me. I'm glad with HostGator now, very lightning fast and professional! Too many times, my sites were slow. If it was 1-2 times a year, I still can accept it. But, it's just too often and I can't do business with such bad environment. Every time I opened a ticket, it took several days or even weeks before the problem get solved. Usually after I made a call and talked to their supervisor. If it's just through tickets, it will never got resolved forever! The tech supports are just too dummy to understand their own stuff. I decided to move to HostGator because all my sites were down for 3 full days without any action! I couldn't login to cPanel, FTP, no SSH,

They are claiming my account usage is high, it is not - according to their own graph. I have reduced my server load but they still are not happy. I get about 50 visitors a day to my site. They are trying to sell me a dedicated server. I am transferring to another host.

We have been we LunarPage for past year. Dealing with Lunarpage has been experience from hell. This is not an over exaggeration by any means. We have had same technical problem five times now and still not fixed. Technical support are inept and incompetent. Customer service, well non-existant. So my recommendation, use any company but LunarPages. We regret why we even wasted our time and money on this horrible company so far.

it takes an average of 15 minutes to receive emails. also, there are SEVERAL days that go by and we receive no emails! then patients call us asking why we have not returned their emails! it is costing us money and valuable patients. tech support tells us that it's because our mailboxes are full? we have 5 emails in our mailbox....how can it be full? we are switching. this has happened WAY too many times!

I used these guys for 4+ years, and don't why I didn't switch sooner. DItto to the reviews on scripts breaking, inability to keep customers notified of changed that will predictably bring their sites down, and lack of ownership for problems they create.

I have (had)22 clients hosted at LP. I don't know if they've been bought out or what, but the uptime and response times are horrible now, tech support is hugely inept and ineffective, you can't complain, they don't honor what you think you booked for, they argue you have to accept what they now say is 'what you get', no refunds if you want to leave. Deceptive practices, unethical conduct, horrendous service, BUT if you want to pay an additional $30 a month, they PROMISE they'll do better. I guess they figure if you were dumb enough to pay them at all? Maybe you're stupid enough to pay them more. Run, don't walk. I just filed with the California Attorney General about their deceptive practices. BAD hosting!
