If you have audios, videos, or visual contents on your blog, you can submit your content to Yahoo Search via your media RSS feed. However, it’s not absolutely necessary to submit your sites to search engines because once your site is up and ready, it will usually be found by search engines like yahoo or google after a few weeks. From my point of view, it’s still recommended to manually submit the website or blog to Web directories as it will give you better chance of being found by spider-driven engines such as yahoo or google bot.
