so so bad
A year ago I had the misfortune of registering my domain with 1 and 1. They approved the transaction and registered my domain. After some issues with the site I set up hosting elsewhere. 1 and 1 didn't actually process my payment for a month and didn't send a notification or call. I logged in to find the issue and updated my card again carefully, the same card i use all the time. They couldn't accept a manual payment and they sent the issue to collections. A year later, I have spent hours on the phone with them to try and get my domain renewed. they removed it from the admin panel so i couldn't renew it. each time i call the same number and get different security protocols or none at all. I get a different answer half the time if the line doesn't get suddenly disconnected. now they insist that I pay thru paypal and can't process my order for 2-3 business days. That means my site will be down all of that time. these guys have more issues than I have ever encountered with a single business by far.
