All you need to know is on the Arvixe Twitter feed
The day Arvixe was bought by EGI, the Twitter feed stopped. And from that point on, everything went downhill very quickly. If you are unwise enough to read the hundreds and hundreds of ongoing, awful reviews about this company, and still choose to sign up with them, be sure to use a credit card. Last year, Arvixe tried repeatedly to bill me for services they no longer supplied (domain registrar). I disputed the charges with my credit card company, had them reversed and then had them blocked permanently from my credit card. Sure enough, when I did cancel, all the rest of my services, they tried to bill me anyway. I must say I am enjoying the emails they are sending me, which tell me their (fraudulent) attempted credit card charges are "failing" and that I MUST go to their site and update my card info. I don't think so. LOL :)
