FORMER TECH SUPPORT AT BLUEHOST
I would like to share some hard hitting facts about bluehost. I worked as Bluehost(including Fasthost,Justhost) tech support(Live chat and email(tickets) support is based in India). First, no proper training is provided for Tech supports. second, the reason tech supports force you to upgrade to higher plans is they have a target to meet(Yes!! Tech supports at Bluehost have sales targets, which is unethical) that is the reason they try hard to sell products, which is actually not needed at all. I have seen people selling VPA/Dedicated to customers, given their need is shared servers. When ever their sever was down, we were asked to sne dstandard message and they try their best to take all your money. When I worked, I used to feel sorry for some customers who were running small businesses and didn't have much Idea about hosting. They were tricked buy expensive plans and if websites were hacked they were asked to clean it up themselves or buy SiteDoctor($250+) even that wouldn't clean files sometimes. Bluehsot started good, but ones EIG took over, it was ruined. I beleive it's the same with most hosting companies, only thign they care is about money.
