September 19, 2018How do you get any codero hosted website removed? Easy... just email in a fake copyright claim with absolutely no evidence. They took my website down without warningand it took over a week to get it back online. Imagine how many sales were lost! I obvioulsy left and found new hosts after this incident. What's worse is there was no apology.

September 06, 2018I had 3 dedicated servers with Codero, one of which dedicated MySQL server. Codero then migrated my hardware to a new datacenter and I was told 5 hours downtime maximum. After 8 hours my websites were back online but completely broken. Turns out they had not configured the IP of the database server correctly. I explained this to them but still it took them over 4 hours to correct the issue. 12 hours of downtime in one day! We lost a considerable amount of money and have since moved elsewhere.

August 15, 2018After a year of hosting, Codero decided to migrate me onto the Azuze Cloud service by Microsoft. Afer that it was nothing but problems. Requent downtime and not any explanation or apology from their support department. If I wanted Azuze Cloud hosting I would've signed up direct to Azuze!!

August 07, 2018I had been with Codero for 6 months and suddenly my hosting invoice was $200 higher than it normally was. When I questioned this I was told that the plan I was on had increased in price and this was my new monthly fee! No warning, nothing.. just suddenly out of nowhere my hosting goes up $200 a month. I have sinced moved hosts.

July 20, 2018I have spoken to a few colleagues who were also hosted with Codero and they have left too. All of us cited the same reasons: downtime and complete lack of support. Whilst the support department do reply, they are clearly in way over their head! Stay clear of this company!

July 18, 2018We all make mistakes and I can understand the occasional hiccup when it comes to hosting and working with technology. However when it's just one problem after another resulting in downtime at least a minimum of once a month, eventually you need to cut your losses and find another host. What is the point of having a guarantee if they do not honor it? I expect its just used as a marketing ploy.

June 12, 2018Horrible customer support. Horrible service. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years, that is until they forced us to migrate to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. I have had dedicated servers with them on and off since their early days, and migrated to their cloud product about 5 years ago. Sure the platform had a few problems, but overall it has been great. This was all great and good until they sold us cloud customers out with a forced migration to Microsoft's Azure platform. I am not going to go into my thoughts on the Azure platform, because this is about Codero, but suffice it to say now that they have sold out loyal customers I will not ever use them again. This use to be a customer oriented company with great service and a drive to support their customers, but now the culture there has gone by the way side, and they no longer care. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

January 28, 2018It amazes me how a hosting company can have such poor support. Coderos technical team have absolutely no clue what they are doing. They are unable to properly configure a virtual machine and their frequent attempts to diagnose problems and run updates almost always results in downtime. I had countless headaches trying to deal with Codero and speak with their support team to find out what was going on with my virtual server.

January 21, 2018a competitor submitted a false DMCA takedown request and Codero shutdown my entire server on a Friday afternoon without notice, warning or reason. After contacting support I was told it was not their problem and to speak to their legal team on MONDAY. I spent over $700 a month on hosting and that is the service I get. What a joke. Avoid.

May 21, 2017They have a 100% uptime guarantee, but that does not extend to scheduled maintenance. Unfortunately scheduled maintenance happens a lot and over runs every single time. I estimate there is around 6-8 hours scheduled maintenance downtime every month on average.

March 30, 2017I am representing a company offering SaaS and it is therefore very important to have everything at its best while price is actually secondary. If I read reviews where people complain that contents was taken down after being weeks late, all I can say: Wake Up. The first thing you do is creating a daily back-up service if you run a serious business. We have two servers with them for years and not one single complaint. They are friendly, and always willing to help. Support was provided numerous times within a very reasonable time even after I locked myself out of one server. I would recommend Codero to my best friend.

January 08, 2017While on vacation, I received the invoice for my Cloud Portal that hosted over 110 sites, many of which cost thousands of dollars to develop and sell to companies. While gone, I didn't know the invoice had gone by the wayside, and as soon as I got back and noticed, I paid it in full. Little did I know, CODERO DELETES ENTIRE SERVERS AFTER 14 DAYS. That was heartbreaking. Everything... GONE. No recovery possible. Tech support basically said "Oh well. Why did you put that many company sites on a $43 per month hosting plan?" REALLY? That proves they don't care and have no respect for the integrity of their clients' data. Never again will I use them, and I wouldn't recommend them to ANY developer. Use GreenGeeks, iPage, Godaddy, whatever. They'll help their clients in situations like these, not just delete everything in two weeks and say "Oh well, why put something that important on our servers"

October 02, 2016I'm a software developer in Phoenix AZ. I have been hosting with Codero for about 9 months and the service has been excellent. I have a nicely spec'ed local dedicated server for $95 a month. I host 4 websites, 2 client facing and 2 business applications/systems). I have had zero issues and on the occasions I have had questions, etc. technical support has been prompt and answered my questions to satisfaction. I highly recommend hosting with Codero. I used to host with GoDaddy(for 3 years) ... I switched to Codero because I get better hardware for less and service is Excellent.

Buyers BEWARE Their employees are rude and if you get upset because of their screw ups, they will ask you to leave. Take my advise, you will never hear something like this from other nothing favorable if something goes wrong they will sell your house I am a professional with 25 years of experience. And i still host with this company They run the company like Mom and Pop and they do not care about when they create irate customers because of their low end service So many problems with them. I was lied to so many times. Its very difficult to detect a hosting company if they upgrade yoru server, and if that really happened. Some problems: Codera is always a whole fiasco i have lost 4 clients in one day with them. Paid them to fix things but they didn't and lied to me I have been with these guys for more than decade and half its unbelievable how my tasks has been handled These guys did nothing, I contracted them to migrate my server, because they never upgraded and lied to me. February 25, 2016I have purchased a demo server for 20$ and feels low speed and asked them to remove the server.They created a another invoice instantly and stole 55$ from my account with out my permission. Asia people dont go with them very poor speed. Do not give your Credit/Debit card details to them they will stole amount from it.

October 09, 2015I have nothing but good things to Say about Codero. Their network is rock solid and you get what you pay for on the hardware side. The Technical staff are always available and response times are usually less than an hour. It is important to understand that what you are paying for is a solid network and as advertised servers. Since these are essentially un-managed servers you do need to know what you are doing but the tech guys seem to deal with the day to issues professionally and in a timely manner.

Like another review here I was a victim of them charging me a cancellation fee for not being happy with their service. Codero offers a promotional rate to sign-up but if you cancel and aren't happy they bill you the difference. That would be an alright practice if during the sign-up process they made that clear to the customer. If during a promotional sign-up someone is told they will be billed if they aren't happy you can assure people wouldn't sign-up but instead codeo violates visa and mastercard regulations by hiding it in their tos. You cannot search their tos and find "cancellation fee for promotions or promotional services". Instead of trying to make a customer happy and the issue right they just hit that charge button on your credit card. If you host with codero hopefully your bandwidth reports work because mine never did and if you expect to have the 5 ip's you order; well good luck getting those too because you have to jump through hoops.

It is rare though to encounter a company with great support AND great pricing... Even if you're on a simple dedicated box or Cloud box (I've used both), you get super responsive support. I'd recommend to anyone.

THEY REALLY SO OFFENSIVE Customer: 1. 7 days grace policy is opposed, but it never means i didn't talked to your customer support and requested her time of comfortablly paid of time. Customer: 2. and i haven't taken anything free from you. infact paid up the one of most costly hosting company Brian B: Sir, I'm not going to debate with you. You have been advised by our billing department the actions required to release your server from suspension. Customer: do you know why i am debating cause my services are down. Customer: i will let all people know about this action. Brian B: You will let people know that by not paying your invoice services were suspended? Customer: suspension is not a problem, Customer: problem is being rigid and non-coperating Customer: even after promising and doing business of 4000$+ i am in this situation Customer: where you can't even wait for non working days.

a hosting company that fails at every oppurtunity
I am never a fan of companies that have an overly aggressive sales team. however in a moment of madness, I signued up to Codero hosting. What an endless cycle of problems. The dedicated server took days to setup, there was constant downtime every single month, the support team have absolutely no clue what they are doing and to top it off, their billing department are utterly rude and unapologetic. I can't think of a worse company I've ever dealt with.
