Worst. Service. Ever.
I started using FatCow in 2011 because of the wind-powered server farms and kept using them because of their incredible customer service. That sure has changed in the last 5 years! The wait time for tech support via chat is anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes. Not so great, but it's made worse by the fact that even the most basic settings are left out-of-reach of the user without tech support intervention. For example, they have to "turn on" access to DNS settings. And then you can't even make SRV record changes without them! If that isn't bad enough, they often say they made a setting change and then just plain don't. It took four (yes four) attempts to have SRV records added last night and, after 16 hours of waiting (because their last response was to give it "up to 12 hours" to propogate), I logged in today and found that they didn't do it. Every issue is a time-sucking ordeal. There hasn't been a single issue in the last year that hasn't consumed my entire day. Not one.
