    Potentially the worst tech support in the business

    Globat has fallen under new management as of June 2009, but this hasn't changed the abysmal tech support. Avoid this host like the plague, because although their uptime is commendable and plans reasonable with lots of features (now changing away from CPanel however) their support is so bad that it overshadows all the positives. The reviewer is a sysadmin level tech with many years of experience in the ISP business, so I know what I'm talking about. Example: They ticketing system doesn't add subsequent responses from the customer into the ticket, so each support rep that looks at the ticket is starting fresh trying to learn about your issue. This has led to quite a few very frustrating long downtimes for me that are inexscusable. Many times there is few English speaking reps available and almost never a supervisor. No one takes ownership of problems, and they have a fight mentality when working with the customer. Avoid at all costs! I warned you.
