Changed DNS A record without consent.
I've been a GoDaddy customer for years and have numerous domains registered through them. While checking stats tonight I noticed that traffic and ad revenue had dropped by a large amount on one of my sites, so I decided to see what was going on. Come to find out when my domain name automatically renewed the DNS A record was changed by GoDaddy and pointed to a completely different site. I called support to see how this happened and support tells me that it's ICANN who did it and that this happens sometimes and I agree to accept this when it happens as it's in their terms of service. Bullshit, I say. You're telling me that my DNS A record magically gets changed without my knowledge and I'm supposed to just accept this as something that happens? Completely unacceptable. You've lost me as a customer.
