    Pricing continues to go up while service goes down

    I have been with Hostmonster for over 10 yrs (mostly because it's such a hassle to change hosting) but I'm done with them now. They continue to increase their prices for lower quality. When I first started with them the customer service was actually very good and whenever I had an issue they fixed it pretty fast. I would have occasional downtime but the they were vFast forward to the past couple of years where my ecommerce site started going down almost daily. The site hadn't changed at all and after extensive research I found the problem was with their server. Their solution? Upgrade to VPN. We had never had any issues in the past and I was already paying for a pro site...we did end up switching to VPN, which was faster but very expensive, but I wish they could have provided the same quality of service that had led me to them in the first place. I used to recommend all of my clients to Hostmonster...not anymore. Now I will be switching to a new provider
