    Some Good, Some Bad

I recently had an automatic renewal with HostMonster. They charged me an ungodly amount of money to renew for 36 months. I called them, asked to get a different account coniguration which had only email forwarding. The lowest they could give me was $90/year. Well, that got the fire going. Literally within hours, my domain was transferred to another hosting company. I was able to get credited all but $15. Why? Because with service, the domain name is free. Without the service, it's no longer free. Oh, and that renewal? It's still 14 days before the old agreement expired. So now they have my money for a domain they are not hosting. So, now they have to respond to a BBB complaint for $15. Way to go Hostmonster.
