Unreliable Servers and Poor Support
DO NOT sign up with hostmonster. I have experienced my websites being down for at least 8 times a year. The company does not send out emails notifying the customer when their site is down, you have to wait an hour for phone support and at least half an hour for online chat support. If you host additional sites, they add a dollar to the overall price every year with no improvements to their service. Currently, my site has been down for 4 days. After waiting an hour for tech support, I was told that they are doing maintenance on the server. I have not been notified that my site is down and I do not have access to the control panel or my files.
