Small Business Owners Beware
My recent experience with Network Solutions has been some of the worst customer service that I have experienced. I have spent over 15 hours jumping through hoops to get my primary contact information changed after purchasing the company. Every time I called, I got a different answer of what was needed from me. I continued to be polite, albeit frustrated, through my 10 to 15 phone calls in a 3 week period. Often, it felt like they were giving me "busy work" in order to get me off of the phone. I could never speak with the same person twice - when asked, they have no direct lines, so I would have to go over the same month long debacle every time. About 50% of my emails would end up "missing" when I would follow through with phone calls. This was one of the most difficult and frustrating processes that I've ever had to go through as a business owner. Other small business owners will know that you simply cannot spend this amount of time battling with a company over a domain name!
