Do NOT use Site5 if you want support that actually delivers.

We've have a multisite with dozens of sites hosted with them plus we've recommended Site5 to our clients for years. No more. Whatever change they went through took this company to the dumpster. Just ONE example: we've had a SIMPLE ticket in for going on three weeks and their overseas contractor (this is a change, and while overseas contractors aren't necessarily bad, these are either handicapped by working for this company or poorly trained) says he can't escalate with NO EXPLANATION. The unprofessionalism is astounding. Be warned. Do NOT use this company.

Simply Stupified by Site5

Things are fine until you need Tech Support, wait times horrendous, my site has been down for over 40 hours. After a dozen or more live support chat's and numerous support tickets being issued - my site is still dead. The cost???? Lost credibility, lost clients.........the list goes on. Who cares? Site5 don't.

Horrible Support & Unable to Cancel Account

I had been a customer of Site5 back in 2014, and had prepaid a 2 year shared account. I went to cancel because i'm no longer using the account. The experience was the worst I've had in a long time. First, I couldn't login as they've changed their admin. Live chat told me to reset password, but the email on the account was for an old email no longer active. So then, we attempted to "verify me" for security...This required getting the credit card last 4 digits. Bear in mind it's been 2 years. Needless to say, the cards I have now have had the number changed before due to fraud, so I can't be verified. I asked for a call to my phone, since that hasn't changed - they refused. Bottom line - I now have to contact every credit card company to make sure they can't charge me - because it's impossible to cancel the account. Run away as fast as you can to another hosting provider.

Horrible Support & Unable to Cancel Account

No, not at all. I’ve been working with them for very long time and their support quality went down every single day. I was using an unmanaged VPS with them, their server did not respond for more than 15 hours, 1 day before my major event Java for Good - Istanbul Hackathon (javaforgood.com). Where we partner with Oracle, Turkish Red Crescent, Animal Rights Federation of Turkey etc. Since we’ve invested a lot of time and money into this social responsibility project, this was an awful experience for me. As soon as we had access to our server, we moved everything to super stable AWS. Not gonna use their service ever again and don’t recommend to anyone who needs even slightest reliability.
