While 3D printing intrigued many several years ago, there is a sudden boom in the use 3D printing brings to businesses. While artists played with the new technology to create objects and test the boundaries of the printers, savvy businesses followed suit and have incorporated it into products and initiatives that will lead the way for many others to follow.

By now, you’ve seen the numerous ads from firms making “action figures” from consumer’s faces, but, as seen on the video for storing and printing your easily lost keys, people are starting to see how 3D printing is commercially viable through the internet.
