I am definitely in favour of wordpress. Blogger isn’t pro at all; plus its not opensource!

I have used both WordPress and Google’s Blogger.

Still have the Blogger blog but ended up creating several WordPress blogs AND used my paid-for site at a separate firm from the two freebie blog-offering firms that had WordPress on-site for installation if desired.

WordPress has two separate “entities;” the free version found within the .com area and a different-in-ways within the .org area.

I am not geeky enough to comprehend all the ins-and-outs but the differences exist.

My privately held WordPress holding does not display the ads that the free-hosted-by-WordPress has.

And, I can use MY paid-for hosted WordPress site for MY profit via ads or affiliate use or whatever I decide upon in what is likely a vain attempt to fend off abject poverty via even a minimal income stream.

    Sniff. Sob.

    Hi Art,

A great guide for anyone looking to decide between Blogger or WordPress …

I started off using blogger before trying out WordPress, I tried WordPress.com shortly after and I was impressed although it didn’t take long for me to move over to WordPress.org because you have more control.

It seems like WordPress will just go from strength to strength now increasing momentum as it goes. There are now so many businesses that exist just because of WordPress – it’s pretty amazing really.
